Rob Mennear and Suzie West

The workshop

A practical hands on approach to teaching creativity to young people and co- constructing a choreography together. Join the co- directors of Cornwall Youth Dance Company Rob Mennear and Suzie West to find out why choreographing with young people is the most rewarding process out there.

The first day will be an introduction to the theories and then practical exploration of tasks and movement manipulation. Working in small teams you will plan a project for a group of young people attending the Sunday workshop.

After a whole cast morning class accessible to all abilities,Sunday will give you a chance to choreograph with young people and perform your new work at the end of the day.

The course is in cooperation with Dansehallerne and Dansefyrtårn Trekanten
