ABOUT THE COURSE:

The Dancer as Entrepreneur course is a 60hour continuing education course that gives the participants skills and competences in developing their own artistic projects. Skills related to idea development, administration, leadership and marketing will be covered. Participants will also be introduced to the structures within which dance is placed in the Danish cultural landscape and funding system.
The course is offered in collaboration with the Dance Partnership Education and the Continuing Education Programme at Statens Scenekunstskolen.
‘Knowing what you want, knowing what you want to say, knowing how to say it and to whom, taking opportunities and having strong values and integrity will make for an entrepreneurial dancer.’
